Location

Your home will work fine as the session location and may provide the most comfort for you and your family especially children, who might other wise feel shy in front of the camera. My goal is to make them feel at ease, so we can get a true-to-life portrait that reflects who they really are. Beaches, parks, and even your back yard are other favorite session sites for bridal and family portraits. If you have a recommendation for a favorite location within the Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Venice, Englewood, Nokomis and Boca Grande areas I would be happy to accommodate you . I can let you know when the best time of day to take outdoor portraits are but you will have to decide when your children will be most happy and well rested, it’s better to reschedule than to frustrate both you and your child.

Wardrobe

Clothing and accessories should be kept very simple.

Dark, solid colors are usually more flattering for adults. Many times bright clothing and fun accessories work great for children’s portraits.

For everyone in a group portrait, it is undoubtedly long sleeved white shirts and  kakki  or blue jean pants that photograph the best. These colors  make the face the center of attention. Usually going barefoot for a beach portait is the best, but if wearing shoes make sure they are not colorful and distracting 

$65 Session fee includes travel and no time limit session for up to 6 people additional subjects $10 each (add $10 for Boca Grande location for park fee and parking) Session fee is due at booking to hold your date and time open for you and is non refundable.  I require a 24 hour notice of cancellation,  For families with children: I understand that children's moods are  unpredictable and would rather reschedule them then produce images that are less than your child's best.
